Are you familiar with the cannabinoid H4CBD? How does it differ from HHC and CBD?

What is H4CBD?

H4CBD, full name hexahydrocannabidiol, has been on the market for a relatively short time. It is a synthetic cannabinoid that has been derived from a natural cannabinoid and modified to give it completely new properties. According to users, it is similar to CBD in some ways. However, the effects of H4CBD can vary depending on the individual's health condition.

The cannabinoid H4CBD is created by adding four hydrogen atoms to the CBD molecule. The H4 designation in the cannabinoid's name therefore indicates the use of four hydrogen atoms. The entire production process of the cannabinoid H4CBD is similar to the hydrogenation of vegetable oil and leads to the fact that the body can use and absorb such a substance more easily.

Scientists first encountered the cannabinoid H4CBD in the mid-twentieth century. Since then, however, they have not made much progress in its research and are still waiting for research to focus on its complete mapping. This is also why it is advisable to be cautious when using H4CBD.

How do CBD, H4CBD and HHC differ?

The cannabinoid CBD is a direct derivative of the cannabis plant and is sought after by users for its positive effects on pain, inflammation, stress relief and anxiety.  CBD oils and drops, capsules or vapes are especially popular.

H4CBD is  a less researched cannabinoid compared to CBD. However, H4CBD users report that the effects are very similar to what CBD offers. The difference, however, is that compared to CBD, the effects and effects of the cannabinoid H4CBD are noticeably stronger. Compared to conventional CBD, H4CBD can  have a psychoactive effect. This is why many consumers often report that H4CBD is closer to the cannabinoid HHC in its effects.

The cannabinoid HHC is only found in trace amounts in the cannabis plant. It is produced synthetically from other cannabinoids or terpenes found in cannabis plants. The effects of HHC on the human body are being studied by scientists, but users report that HHC often has a relaxing and stimulating effect.

The picture shows a close-up of the leaves of the cannabis plant. The leaves are green, with characteristic jagged edges and pointed spikes that are typical of the cannabis plant. The shot highlights the structure and texture of the leaves, with some parts of the plant slightly blurred in the background. The lighting highlights the deep green color and details of the leaves.

What are the effects of H4CBD?

H4CBD users may experience relaxing effects, mainly due to the fact that the cannabinoid H4CBD binds strongly to CB1 neuroreceptors in the brain.

The possible effects of the cannabinoid H4CBD are:

  • Relieving stress and anxiety
  • Pain relief
  • Inducing euphoric feelings
  • Calming of body and mind
  • Inducing relaxing feelings
  • Anti-inflammatory action in the human body
  • Support for sleepiness problems
  • Changes in perception

Is H4CBD available and legal in the Czech Republic?

H4CBD is quite widespread in the Czech Republic. At the moment, it is possible to indulge in this cannabinoid in several different forms. These can be flowers, vape, hash, gummies, catridge or spirits.

A big advantage of H4CBD products is their low THC content. As a rule, you will find less than 0.2% THC in the products offered. An example is these H4CBD fruit gummies from Canntropy containing 750 mg of H4CBD.

H4CBD is not a derivative of THC and does not appear on the list of addictive substances.

Conclusion

H4CBD may have great potential for the future. However, scientists have not yet studied this cannabinoid, so it is advisable to approach H4CBD products with caution. Avoid using them in situations where your full attention is needed. For example, driving and consuming H4CBD products really don't go together.
